How much will it cost to lease a car for 6 months in San Francisco area?

Going to work in Palo Alto on a 6 month internship and am thinking about living in San Francisco and commuting. Just trying to work out how much it would cost.

not sure you could lease a car for six months ……a rental may work…..you could even buy a car for a few thousand and sell it a the end of six months or trade it in on something nicer if you stay…..you could get a cute 2003 Lancer for about 3,000 ……..good on gas….
