The accident commuter train in June of 2009 in Washington DC has killed six people, but also ended the hopes of all those who want see high speed rail, to take place in the future. The other first nations of the world atop the food chain have high-speed rail, such as Germany, the United Kingdom, France, China and Japan. Considering that the United States there an Amtrak train speed, it is not comparable to those of other nations, and is often seen as a failed project. Amtrak loses money every year and is the project company many politicians. There are many failures and problems with this technology.
Over there was a rail accident, metro in California because of drivers, using text messaging to control the train. He collided with a freight train to kill huge numbers of people. These things really off the voter in California in time to vote for bond measures or tax increases to create a rail system high speed, that California really needs. In Florida, a proposed high speed train was killed, because of the prospect of potential terrorist acts.
These accidents are bad public confidence in rail systems and high speed commuter train. We need more people down the road and take the train, and it is imperative that we do just to clear some of the congestion. But between injuries, recessions, bureaucracy, terrorism, and fear, these initiatives of high speed rail are struggling to win public confidence. Trust is necessary to ensure that projects are moving forward and ensure that people will use these trains once they exist. Please consider this and the consequences any more potential accidents on the commuter trains.
