I have a 2007 C230 and the computer is telling me to do B-service after only 3K after A-service?
A-service was done when I bought the car and at the time, the maintenance computer said I had 13+K miles till my next service. After less than 3K miles, it states I need to do B-service in 28 days.
I don’t abuse the car (no track stuff), I drive a mixture of surface/freeway on a daily basis, with an average commute of between 10 to 15 miles.
Car mileage – ~19K last service was 16K by the dealer
I drive it on a daily basis so no it hasn’t been sitting around at all.
The computer was reset after the last service and I’ve checked the air filter, it’s fine.
The sensor which monitors the service intervals is an oil quality sensor which not only measures the level of the oil but also the moisture in the oil.So either you have too much moisture in the oil or the sensor is defective
