traffic cameras on bay bridge I-80?
Hi today (Sunday) I accidentally drove through the far right lane that said carpool on the bay bridge toll. I only had one other person with me in the car so I was kind of nervous. But u went through with no problems. I was just wondering if there are any cameras on the carpool section of the bay bridge toll? I know fast track has it for sure but the lane I was in was the very far right lane that says buses only buy carpool ok. Should I expect a ticket in the mail or am I safe? I saw no flash or anything. You mean you didn’t pay? When you pass through a toll lane without paying the toll, an image of your vehicle is captured. A violation notice is sent to the vehicle’s registered owner at the address on file with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The notice requests payment for the toll amount and an additional $25 fee.
However, if you did pay, no worries, carpools are only in effect Monday through Friday between 5 a.m.-10 a.m. and 3 p.m.-7 p.m.
