Are drivers jealous of bike commuters? Is that why they are jerks to bike riders?
I commute every day on my bike and I am amazed how many drivers are just blatantly rude or act inconvenienced when they have to pass me.
I believe it’s because they are jealous because I’m not fat and lazy like they are.
I follow traffic laws and ride respectfully. But people still power past me wasting a gallon of gas like my existence will somehow make their life even more pathetic.
It’s NOT just bike riders. I get honked at almost every day (in my car) for committing the SERIOUS crime of slowing down to turn right. These jerks seem to think you should go around a corner on two wheels so they wont be inconvenienced by having to stop tailgating for a moment or two.
