Where can I get immediate access online for past California freeway traffic conditions and accident reports ?
I got a traffic ticket for crossing over double yellow lines in the carpool lane. There was an accident on the freeway and the CHP officer was directing traffic away from the accident and I pulled out ahead of him instructing me to do so. He requested me to pull to the side and asked me for my DL and insurance. I did not have my DL on me when he stopped me. I went to court and they dismissed the citation for driving without DL since I presented my CA DL without dismissing the citation for crossing the double lines on carpool lane . Where can I get immediate access of a the traffic accident report and conditions online since I have to appear in court tomorrow. Please advise me as soon as possible since I want to be prepared for tomorrow, I tried the CHP and they referred me to Caltrans which requires a form to be mailed to me and a response from me. I cannot find any archives for CalTrans either, but remind the court that you were obligated to comply with the officer under penalty of CVC § 2800(a), a misdemeanor punishable by six months imprisonment, and point out that you exited that lane immediately upon determining that the exit could be accomplished with reasonable safety pursuant to CVC § 21655.8(b).
