Can we still ask Carpooling in California for the Civic GX?
Hi all, I have heard that we've reached 85,000 HOV Lane Access (carpool) DMV stickers, but still give stickers to all electric / CNG / LPG cars? Is it true? Has applied and got it? Thank you http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/carpool/carpool.htm.
Yes, indeed. The limit of 85,000 sticker applies only approved hybrid (Civic and Prius), and the last of these stickers was published in February 2007. The Civic GX is a natural gas vehicle. It may receive a carpool sticker white (rather than the common yellow sticker that identifies hybrids) and there is no limit to these.
