Traveling for a month in the US. Where should I go?
I finish college at the beginning of May and want to travel until the end of June. I start grad school on June 25th. I’ll start in Maine, drive across the country to Seattle and then down to L.A. and back to Virginia for school. My roadtrip will probably cost me a lot in gas, but I want a great adventure before going back to school for 3 years. ANYWAY, where should I stop along the way? What are some of your favorite attractions, summer festivals, cities, national parks, etc. Im definitely going to stay on a budget (camping out, sleeping in the car, crashing on couches and at hostels). Hopefully I will bring my sister along with me to share gas costs. Any suggestions on things that I should not miss out on?
Thanks Thomas. “Going home” will be part of the trip. My brother lives in L.A., my mom lives in Orlando and my dad lives in Virginia (my last stop)…
If you want a real adventure then why not go to Europe? Head for Paris or Amsterdam or Prague. It won’t cost you anymore than driving around the US.
