Is it possible to receive loans without a credit card?
I assume that I can’t get a loan for a house or a car if I have not established good credit which would require a credit card. I am currently studying surveillance and the increasing fusion of business and government via data sharing/sale and I resent the limit to my freedom that is imposed on me by requiring that I leave a trail of my transactions! I’d like to avoid getting a credit card if at all possible. I’m sure I can find ways to work around this issue if it turns out that I am required to have one but I still do not feel comfortable with it. Someone will probably argue that if I do not make suspicious purchases I will be fine even if the government decides to access my data records but I do not necessarily feel that this is correct. However, it is a very involved topic and I do not have the space or the desire to put the discussion here. So – is it possible to get a house or a car loan without a credit card?
