Can I use the carpool lanes (and to waive tolls) during Thanksgiving in San Francisco Bay Area?
I know that the carpool lane is valid at certain times from Monday to Friday in SF Bay. My question is: can we use the carpool lane (if I need three people in my car) during the Thanksgiving and Black Friday? Can we give up the Bay Bridge toll if we go on deck during the hours specified in this carpool Thursday and Friday? It was weekday but it is also the festival. Thank you.
The carpool lane applies only at certain times of day / days a week. Holidays are not days of carpooling, so you pay the toll on Thursday to some – maybe not for Friday though. Edit: Actually, looking at the site, it appears that the rules apply carpool Mon-Fri during the hours of travel, so it seems you can get free on both days.
