Do not get my infant son of the carpool lane?

My commute to work involves a stretch of Interstate 33 mile, I drop my son with my parents instead of sticking him in daycare – and my parents live about 2 miles from my job. Recently, while complaining the slow traffic was moving my father asked me why I was not in the carpool lane … I had not thought of him but he said it would be nice, because it is a track designed for 2 people or more, and my son is a person … I was wondering what everyone thinks about this? If I can use the Carpool Lane I am quite, but I will not be abused if small children can not count … oh yeah, i am in WA:)

Yes. A child is considered a second occupant. Here are some tips: for the child is difficult to see in a car, the police you may pull, because can not see someone else in another car as you. So if your son can not wave out the window, however, point to the car seat when the agent password. I did it with my children when an officer passed.
