I have a problem…..?
I am ready to break up with my girlfriend because I felt she really doesnt care about what makes me happy.
On my birthday she actually caught an attitude because I wanted to hang with my all male cousins and not with her. Although she had to work, I still made time to have dinner (she works at a restaurant) with her and spend some time with her on my birthday. I had to borrow her car (since we carpool) to catch up with everyone else while she was at work. When I texted her to confirm what time she was going to be ready, she told me to be back 1 hour before she got off. I was mad because I know what time she gets off and kinda knew she wanted me away from my friends. I sat from 11pm to 12 midnight the day of my birthday helping her with her crowd at her job. When I told her I wanted to go back to the get together when she got off, she started sulking and made me feel guilty for not including her.
Was it that fair? Am I missing something ?
It honestly sounds like your Girlfriend is a control freak..but its completely normal…tons of females do it..it can be just as simple as an insecurity..or she wants you all to herself. she also could have figured that if you out for your birthday with all guys..anything could happen..females sometimes have very bad trust issues…talk it out with her and maybe you two can work together to fix the problem rather then break someones heart.
