What do I do about this dance?
Okay, so there’s this casual mixer dance tomorrow and i really wanna go, but i don’t wanna go there alone. So i was thinking about asking a close friend if he’d wanna go there with me, but im kinda nervous to. I’m afraid it’ll be awkward if he already has plans to go with a bigger group. Plus, he doesn’t live close to me, so it’s not like we should be carpooling unless we do something beforehand. But i dont know what to do beforehand cuz theres really nothing to do at my house. How should i go about this? How should i ask him to minimize awkwardness and make good, clear, solid plans? Or should i just go there alone and hang out w/ people i know there (even though last year i felt kinda out of place cuz i went alone)? Or should i not bother going cuz its a small, date-less dance?

Ask at least one other friend, go as a group. Meet for pizza or something beforehand and head over to the dance together.
