Scion Tc Exhaust intake help?

My husband has a Scion TC as his commuter car, our 2500 lifted Suburban just wasn’t doing it for his 1 hour commute on the highway everyday. He hates tuners and ricers, but would like to add a little power to the car without making it a “ricer” and help some gas mileage. Anyone put a cold air or short ram intake or cat-back on their TC? Does it help that much to make a difference? He isn’t looking for a “fast” car he has a bored out 2002 SS Camaro with drag slicks for that in the garage. But would like to be able to get out of his own way. It isn’t a bad car acually, we like it more than we thought….but can’t get over the 170hp (we have never owned anything non-gm with less than 300hp ever before this) Also anyone know any good catbacks that don’t sound like “fart cans” he wants a smooth sound because he at times has to take client out in his car and doesnt want to be see as a “kid” Thanks

a cold air intake, and for cat backs tc dont usually sound like fart cans the TRD sound good but is an axle back, greddy, arc,DC, borla and others make cat backs

Commuter cat is star of bus route
