NJ towns for commute to downtown NY?
I commute to downtown manhattan (WTC Path stop). I currently live in downtown Jersey City, but am tired of condo living and want to buy a single family or townhome (newer construction) in a clean and safe neighborhood for under 700k. I don’t want to commute over 45 minutes. Any suggestions of town I should consider? If you know of actual developments it would be very helpful. Thanks for your help.
I would check out towns like Glen Rock, Wyckoff, Midland Park, Hawthorne, Oakland. I don’t know… the closer you get to the city the more congested the housing is….so it really depends if you want a yard and family-friendly house/neighborhood. Houses in the towns I mentioned are going to be a little pricey and I’m sure taxes are high…but I mean all of north jersey is crazy as far as the cost of homes.
