We just got a job in Portland. What’s the commute like from Cornelius, St. Helens, Forst GR and woodburn?
We are tyring to buy a home that is USDA (goverment no money down). What would my commute be like from Cornelius, St. Helens, Forest Grove or Woodburn Or? We are also thinking about buying in Washington and commuting to Portland. Is anyone familiar with the comute from La Center Wa to Portland, or Battle Ground Wa to Portland? Any info would be helpful
Go for Cornelius or Forest Grove… you are at least close to Beaverton and Hillsboro and you can ride the bus into Hillsboro and get onto the MAX train and it’s a smooth-sailing ride from there. Woodburn is really far and lacks mass transit to Portland. Saint Helens is just a little too far as well. And if you’re planning on driving the commute will be hell no matter which of those cities you chose.
