commute london to cambridge
Where would be best for me to move on? I work in Old Street EC1, have family and friends in Cambridge in Brixton

I live Balham in an apartment 1 bedroom but I want to move to a 2 bedroom apartment, somewhere still in London so I can get a lodger. Although I like to share it Balham I have friends in Brixton, this is not conveniant for many other things. I work in Old Street therefore have a journey of about 45 minutes on the Northern Line. I return to Cambridge too, which measures the time to drive all the way across London to visit to the M11. Everything leads me to move north of the river which is a shame that I love the south London. Ideally, I would find a place where I can easily travel to Old Street, Cambridge and Brixton! Ideas? Would be great if I could avoid the Northern Line and take the bus / train to work in the morning but realize this might not be an option if I want to be able to go to Brixton too easily.

Your friends can move on. Thus Families can. Try to find something convenient for you. You are bound to end up with the highway if you go to Cambridge. There is a website called Travel meethalfway.com thing is really like to have friends who live too far away to be able to find "halfway". You can try some something like that to see what it throws up. Without being egotistical about it remind you that your comfort and well-being are important too!
