Best way to commute from Herndon, VA to DC for work?
We are looking to buy a house in Herndon, VA but have to come to DC for work (Lenfant Plaza). What is the best way in terms of shortest time and least expensive for daily commute to and from herndon to DC.
Has any one tried it. How much time does it take for you ( door to door) . Will you advice looking for a house in Herndon ( or that far from work) or somewhere near to work is better ( with some compromises)?
That’s like 30 miles. Will probably take more than an hour each way. I don’t know why you would want to do that. Definitely look closer. If you’re from some rural state, it’s definitely easy to underestimate DC traffic.
