How far is Long Island from the New York City?
Hey guys, I’m trying to go to school in Long Island and I need to get a job as well as an apartment. The school is in Long Island so if I wanted to go to Long Island in the morning for school then return back to the city to work a job at night, how long is the commute?

Depends on where on Long Island and where in the City….
Do a mapquest from where you are working to where the school is and that will at least give you mileage (if you’re a NYer, you’ll know that distance doesn’t really tell you accurate travel time)
