commuter bike tires
Entry level cyclist. Want to know if I got a good deal.?

Just picked up a brand new 09 Bianchi Via Nirone7. Tiagra components, Michelin Dynamic tires Joytech Rigida Flyer rims, KEO easy pedals, and Prowheel OUNCE 630 crankset.

This will be an everyday commuter bike, not really a racer (yet). Live in Cincy so I have some pretty gnarly hills to climb, and some tight cornering.

Paid $840 for everything including shipping. So for what I need it for is this a good bike? I don’t know that much about it, so those of you out there who ride alot; did I get a good deal?
Carl… I ordered the bike on the 29th and it should arrive by the 4th of June. So I guess no I don’t have it, it’s being built and then shipped.

My buddy bought a Via Nirone with 105 components for almost double that and 105 is just one component group above yours. Let’s see: A bike that retails for over $1,200 with shipping for $840- you didn’t just get a good deal. You got an awesome deal!! Also, that frame is worth upgrading on if you decide later that you want a higher level bike. The current components might not be high end but that frame definitely is.
