Good first Motorbike?
I am 17 next June and I live in the UK, I really want to learn to ride a motorbike for money reasons and because its always something I have wanted to do. I need a bike that is no more than 125cc as this is the maximum size for a new rider in the UK. I need a bike that it cheap to run and look after but reliable and comfortable, I will be using the bike for commuting and just going around town, however some long distance rides may need to be taken on it, but it will mainly be used for short distance commuting.
If you want to buy a bigger bike sometime later on then get a 125 geared motorbike.
If you want to buy a cheap 2nd hand geared motorbike then get a Honda CG125
Cheap parts & cheap to insure.
If you can buy brand new then get a Honda CBF125.
They go for £2000 and they are also cheap for parts. (Only £30 for a replacement side panel)
It comes with 2years engine warranty
2 years break down cover
I get 110 miles per gallon
