Where can a family live that is a max 45 min commute to london?
We are a family with 3 children 5-11 having to move from the wilds of wales. Husband will be working in the mayfair area and doesn’t want a long commute into work. We ideally don’t want anywhere too built up. I still need to see green!
Surrey is probably the nicest place outside of London, and surprisingly close and as its West of London its probably the best place for your husbands commute. Although its more like a 50/60 min commute, Brighton is a really nice option! Generally though, if you want to live closer, south London is a bit greener….south west like Putney and Tooting is quite nice, Greenwich has a gorgeous park and is pretty safe.
