What’s the right motorcycle for a 300-pound beginner?
Gas prices are killing me (I drive a Ford F-150 Supercrew) and I’m leaning toward a motorcycle. Scooters are more expensive and if I get a 250cc scooter I need a motorcycle license to drive it anyway. I want a bike only for commuting in town (about 75 miles a week) not for highway use. I’m 6-foot-3, 300 pounds. Any suggestions for a cost-effective bike that fits my needs?
Used bike at least a 500, you do not need a 1000. I am over 300 and I ride a 600 naked sports bike with no problem.
