Is a daily Seattle to Redmond commute too much?
I’m planning on moving to Seattle within the year. What is a reasonable radious around downtown Seattle to live? Would Shorline be too far North if i had a job in the downtown area?
For such a forward thinking city on transit options no one mentioned the Sounder, other express transit options or the soon to be coming light rail. Sound Transit takes you right into Downtown and runs from Redmond. I know a few times this last winter a couple of the routes were closed due to mudslides, but that could happen anywhere. Check out this website. Seattle is getting some pretty cool alternative options to sitting in traffic.
