Has your employer raised your salary to cover commuting costs?
My boyfriend’s company is in a remote country location with a 60 mile/round trip commute, 6 days a week.
It is a small landscaping company, with a long commute for all 15 employees, who have been with the company for years.
Employees are thinking about carpooling, but, of course, prefer a salary increase. Their last (annual) increase was $1.00/hour in March.
no raise for me.
