
First bike that I do, I decided to buy the Harley-Davidson Custom XL Sporster but ….?
I am undecided between the 883 CC cc or 1200. Which do you recommend? It will be a daily commuter for me at school.
get the 1200. It is slightly larger than the 883, provide almost the same, will receive almost the same mileage … i said close, not exact. the 1200 will also weigh slightly higher, which will absorb road bumps much easier than ur kidney will. Basically, there is no difference for the custom roadster except: more chrome on custom, and the controls forward. apart from that the bikes are identical to the year 1200. years, they had a change kit for converting a 883 in 1200 with little cost. that changed with the Evo and the rubber mounts. u can still do, but will be costly. if u dont belive me on this point, ask peeps on Harley Chat Forum group …. http://www.harleychatgroup.com as owner of a Sportster 2005 Roadster XL1200R, I personally can say that u: out of the box, this bike has a couple respectable off, approximately 50 hp at the rear wheel … stock, I get about 54-55 km / h configuration engine series, and I can easily cruise at 400 miles a day if I want. I can get those 400 miles easy with 2 add-ons: Headquarters at sunset and removable windshield. 2 items very important if u expect to see all journeys per day. the 1200 will also give u more power than the 883 when both bikes are in stage 1 on it.
