What does GREEN really mean for the envirnment?

We hear the term “green” everywhere and everyone seems to talk about it, among which are people and companies taking advantages to the “trend” or “fashion”. What’s green really mean to you?

The following is what I found in Wikipedia.org:

“Green is used to mean environmentally friendly. For example, green cars are vehicles that have extremely low emissions that are harmful to the environment. The different types of green cars include hybrid, electric, ethanol, biodiesel, natural gas, and high MPG gasoline cars. ”

Green to me is about preserving the environment for my future generations…

If you are interested in prevention of Global Warming, I would visit the Global Commons Institute and learn about Contraction and Convergance. Finally, if you are in the UK, perhaps a trip to the Big Green Gathering might expand your views on “Green”.
