fast commuter bike
Hello! Is there a motorcycle that does it or did it all for you?

If you’re a motorcyclist, you’ve probably felt tempted to have several motorcycles since it’s difficult to gather all advantages just in one.

If you’re a commuter in a city with tight streets and very heavy traffic, a powerful scooter will probably be a good choice

If you’re going on a long trip, you’d be OK with a big, heavy and comfortable touring motorcycle,

If you’re just going for a short ride for the thrill and the asphalt is good, a sport-bike is a good choice

But these types of motorcycles all have drawbacks, as they specialize too much in a certain area, whether it’s being practical, comfortable, or fast, you have to choose.

Some motorcycles don’t compromise so much, so I would like you to tell me. of your experience, about a motorcycle you have had or ridden for some time, that does a good job with most of the tasks you give it.

Is there such a thing? :)

Suzuki LS650 Savage. I’ve had it for over four years. Lightweight, big single with a wide torque band, fabulous city bike. I get 45-50 mpg no matter how much I try to get less. I’ve taken it on the Angels’ Crest and Ortega Highways — while I won’t claim I’m as fast as a sport bike, none passed me. I’ve taken it from L.A. to O.K.C., starting with back to back 500+ mile days.

For me, the bike’s primary purpose is my daily commute, seeing as I don’t have a cage. The weekend rides in the local twisties or the longer tour are an extra bonus. While not superb, it handles the twisties just fine. While not a heavyweight, I had no problem on the Interstate — I was able to maintain speed of traffic just fine, and I was not blown around by the wind. Not to mention I get over 60 mpg at 70 mph on the superslab.
