My gf doesn’t know how to ride a bike. How do I teach her? Serious responses please?
Anyone know how to teach an adult how to ride a bike? I love bike riding and she wants to learn. Any suggestions?
(feel free to make jokes, but also answer seriously as well)
Same way I taught my wife. Find an empty, flat road or parking lot; put the bike in a low gear. Teach her to start out by pushing off with her feet and gliding. When she gets her balance, start getting her to put her feet on the pedals. Ride short distances in a straight line. Teach her to shift her weight to steer – lean into the turn, instead of turning the handlebars. With enough practice, it will all come naturally.
