Amazing Race 14- am I being too harsh?
Last week I was slightly perturbed that the little stunt guys were penalized an amount of time too far to catch them up (unless someone else ended up with a penalty); making me thin they should have just been cut. What gets me is they were penalized for giving up their own possessions as payment, in which the black girls begged and bummed a free ride and no penalty…..I think id your going to be willing to part with your own possessions as payment, that’s fine, but a 2 hour punishment for each ‘penalty’, when the girsl were just as guilty.
Now last night, the broo-haha of the black girls slamming into the deaf guy; no penalties on either side for something like physicality/ uncsportsmanlike conduct? I like the comment they made about karma caused the deaf guy to get bit by the duck, will they still consider it karma next week when they come up against the swimming challenge adn one of the black girls doesn’t like/can’t swim?
I think the stunt guys incurred such a harsh penalty this time because it was a 2nd offense.
Therefore the stiff sentence.
The 1st offense is only a half and hour penalty.
They seem to have difficulty staying within the parameters of the game.You have to use only the amount of money received to get to each destination that levels the playing field for ALL players.
If someone gives you something for free that doesn’t count. It only counts if you PAY.
I felt like the whole thing between the girls and the deaf guy was just unnecessary and they were both to blame.
He didn’t have to push her off when they both arrived at the box at the EXACT same moment and she didn’t need to call him a b*tch for it. What difference does it make if they both get the clue at the same minute …
What was the BIG DEAL that he had to push her away so he could be there for 1 minute sooner than her…
It wasn’t the finish line ! It was a clue box !
Both teams are getting to COMPETITIVE in my opinion. And they are getting nasty because of it.
Blowing every little thing out of proportion.
I think they are both guilty of exploitation and unsportsmanlike behavior . He is all of the sudden reminding us of his disability every 10 seconds and they are doing the same thing acting like they have a chip on there shoulder all the time and they are put upon.
It’s just stupid !
