scottrade and free-ride…?
if I sell a stock with an unsettled funds and put on free ride (my 3rd), my account will presumably be put on 3 months freeze…can I still close out my entire account and withdraw fund? how does it work? help please, thanks
Yes. The freeze restricts your trading. You can still close your account. Just visit an office, or call them if one isn’t nearby, and they will take care of it.
