Does Thanksgiving count towards Stocks 3-day settlement in the stock market?
To avoid free-riding penalties, I just want to make sure.
I sold on weds oct 8th, meaning my funds will be settled on the 13th of october. But that day is thanksgiving here in Canada. So, does that count as a settlement date, or will I have to wait till Oct 14th?
Should be three market days… if your site has a ” transaction history” tab…or even under your ” orders”…they SHOULD give your settlement date on there.
