It’s just a video of me and my friend free lunging him, I dont have any riding videos uploaded at the moment, lol. But Ill get to it!!
Anyways.. he’s kinda stupid at the beginning. He bucks and takes off and stuff, just fast forward and look at when he starts trotting and canterin over the poles nicely.
Im not looking for anything in peticuliar. I just tell me what you think of him. (:

Yeah, that definatley makes alot of sense! I did just free lunge him cold, but Ill be sure never to do that again! Thanks a ton!!

Very attractive horse. “Classic” thoroughbred elegance as well as exuberance. He could probably use a little more muscle over his topline. That comes from doing your flatwork correctly – jumping is fun but basics are key! Looks like he’s having a good time!
Just a word of warning about hyper TBs and free lungeing. If you take them straight out of their stall and let them go, and they run around like idiots for the first few minutes, they can be prone to injury. This is because their joings and muscles are cold and stiff from standing in a stall, and then they go full blast with no warmup at all! So if I’m going to let a TB loose in the arena to lunge like this and he’s come straight from his stall, I generally hand walk him around the arena for a few laps before I let him loose. That way he gets at least some warmup. After all, you’d never get on to ride and go straight to gallop, right? OK, enough scolding from a worry wart like me. It’s just that I’ve paid a lot of vet bills in my life….
I love that indoor. It’s so bright and airy. You are lucky to have such a nice facility at which to keep your horse. Hope you enjoy him!
