Buell Motorcycles is gone. What Ducati should I buy?
I was going to by an XB12X or Lightning Long. Now I just want a pleasant, comfortable bike with great handling and a good ride. Antilocks, and traction control might be nice, but I ride my motorcycle to work every day. I don’t want a racer replica or anything that gives me shoulder cramps. What Ducati should I looks at first? Anything else, like a favorite BMW, that might make a good commuter and pleasant back road basher?
You are in luck because Ducati just modified the look and engine on the Multistrada 1200. Its a really awesome looking bike with 3 different standard options. You can buy the bike set up for touring, urban, or sport riding, AND it puts out 150hp! The Multistrada has options for ABS as well, although I did not see traction control… I believe the only Duc that comes on is the Streetfighter. The riding position on the Multistrada looks perfect for commuting, a little more upright but the bike still maintains the sporty look.
Great brand name though, I have a Ducati Monster right now and it is awesome… very reliable and tons of fun to drive.
