Would you commute to work if you didn’t have to?
I’m moving about 2 hours away from home with 2 girlfriends, and I want to work at this hotel where my sister used to work. She said it was such a great job, you get a lot of perks, and free food (ie. less grocery shopping) and the people were amazing. This job is about 15 minutes away from my house, (according to google earth) or I could just apply somewhere in this little village by my house.
What would you do and why? Pros and cons of each choice?
I’m just worried that if I apply somewhere close to my house that I will spend all my time in one little area and get bored of living on my own.
Well yes ultimately it IS up to me but I thought the point of this site was to “get answers” lol
I would go for the hotel job. Commuting is generally a bad idea, but 15 minutes is really not all that much. I wouldn’t even consider that much of a commute.
