how to save fuel while driving
How much fuel could we Americans save by shutting off our engines while waiting in drive through lines?

Some say a typical large American car uses about one gal/hour idling. If we multiply this by the large number of folks (nation-wide) that use them each day, what would the figure be? Would this be an important study to do? Or, if we all parked our cars, walked in and purchased our fast food…would there be “collateral benefits”?

Park your car and walk in, it helps save gas and you get some exercise.
