INSURANCE,ROAD TAX AND LICENCE FOR CYCLISTS?
I believe that as soon as the government get enough people using bikes to commute then they will introduce licences,insurance and road tax schemes to take us for more money……(remember when diesel was cheaper than petrol before they convinced us that using diesel was best for us).
If they think they can soak some more money out of people, they’re bound to do it eventually. Like that one US city (I think it was in Georgia; sorry, don’t have a link) that encouraged its citizens to conserve water during a water shortage. The citizens did so, and the city figured out they weren’t making as much money, so they raised the price of water!
