Florida International vs University of Miami?
I was wondering which one is better?
I hear UM is very expensive,has alot of snobs,but it really good academics and is located in Coral Gables a rich part of Miami so I wouldn’t get to bored on the weekends.
FIU has a really good International Business program, its also ALOT cheaper. It’s a commuter school but then again aren’t most school dry on the weekends anyway? It has alot more kids and I took a tour of school and kinda liked it.
Which school would I have the most fun at? Party wise? Social wise?
I think UM is far superior to FIU in most aspects, great academics and so forth. Most people recognize that UM is a great school. FIU is still unknown but if you feel more at home at FIU, then consider that as well.
Personally, If I had had the choice to go to UM I’d take it! Miami and surrounding areas are great.
