Carpool Kids – how to say no to mothers who want to join?
We have a carpool of 2 mothers, each with 1 child, and shall be find another mother to join us for orders of 5 yr old to gymnastics. Just asking around did not help, then we will be posted on the community bulletin board, and some local mailing lists. There is 1 mom knows, but do not ask, we are sure, answer and we do not want to add to carpool because of serious personality / Parenting contrasts. His kid is good, but it is known for its delay, backout last minute, no children buckling, and we know it will not but agree to follow our "living mother instead of gym, not go shopping, even nextdoor 'rule. So is there a "polite" and non-harmful way to say no if she react? we can not pretend that we have already found, and I do not want to enter into a discussion about the real reasons. Our children and we do meet in the park and other places … so just SORRY NO PLAIN not work not …
