How do I get Logan Airport from downtown Providence via the commuter rail and T? Is there a shuttle service?
I need to get to Logan without driving on a Friday afternoon for a 6:30pm flight. What public transportation can I take and is there a a shuttle service that isnt too expensive? Thanks!
From Providence – take the T Commuter Train #818 which leaves at 1:30 PM and arrives at South Station at 2:38 PM. Next train leaves Providence at 3:17 PM and arrives at 4:23 PM.
Take the Red Line subway north to Downtown Crossing Station and transfer to the Orange Line subway. Take the Orange Line north for one station to State St. and take the outbound Blue Line subway towards Revere. Get off at the Airport station and take the frequent shuttle bus to your terminal.
You’re going to need a Charlie Card for the subways but your total fare shouldn’t be more than $20.
