Can anyone tell me where I can find an afordable place to stay in England?
I’m looking for some place where it will be easy to commute to and from London and other places in that general area (i.e. Oxford, Gloucester, Birmingham). I will be there for about a week and want to have money to spend outside of housing and accomodations. And how much are taxi/omnibus bus fares?
I rented a place in London right now in Sloane Square and it is small, once filthy, too much $$$$ a week. Hotel on the other hand cost alot of money unless you get the whole travel package. Taxi…….if you are on a budget, you cannot afford to ride on taxi. They all ride the tube (1 pound 50p to start for london and outside that zone, you will have to add 50p)or the train and lastly the bus.
