How long does it take you on average for you to commute to from work?
How often do you face transport disruption?
It takes me about 1 1/2 hours to get to work, but I ride bike. I leave my house around 5:15 AM, get to work around 6:45 and shower and change and I’m ready by 7. On the way home, I leave around 4 and get home around 5:30-5:45, so maybe 15 minutes more, but there’s a lot more uphill on the way home and I just feel fresher in the morning. About 3-3.25 hours roundtrip commute. Most of my commute is on a dedicated bike trail that bypasses roads traversed by cars, so I deal with very little traffic. It’s about 17-18 miles and 10-11 miles of it are on the trail. It’s way less stressful dealing with no traffic, even if it takes longer!
