which is better ,commuting by rail from suburbs or being the city proper?
I live in Albuqerque and the state of New Mexico just started a commuter rail service to the outlying areas, going to Santa Fe eventually too.which is better and/or cheaper to live at,the suburbs or the city proper. It seems every time mass transit comes to a remote area like los lunas(a small suburb of albuqeruque)everyone suddenly wants to live there. So what I should do
New York, Boston and Philadelphia have extensive commuter rail systems which keeps thousands of cars from overcrowded highways every day. However, all of these commuters come from the suburbs into the city.
What you are describing is a service which goes from Albuquerque to the outlying areas where the jobs are located. Do whatever you think is best for you within your resources. If you already live near a commuter train station, stay where you are. If you’d rather walk to work, move to the suburbs.
