Would you live in SF if that meant a 50 minute commute each way?
I want to live in San Francisco but that means 50 mins commute each way.. worse when there’s traffic. Just for one year.. would you do it? I want to experience the city as a local.
No. I’ve done it before but only because I knew it was going to be a short term situation and it did nothing but reinforce my belief that it is no way to live your life. Even if your commute is by public transportation it’s not worth it. If you consider the impact on the environment and the economy then it’s 3x not worth it.
