How is the commute from the san fernando valley to downtown Los Angeles?
I have to be in downtown by 8 o clock. I saw that the closest metro station to where I want to go is 7th street and Union street station is about 3 miles away. So its not really a great walking distance first thing in the morning…any ideas??
If you are considering driving instead, then here are a couple tips:
1) See if others at your work live near you. If you carpool with them, you get to take advantage of the carpool lane.
2) To see how the traffic is going to be for your commute, then check out http://www.traffic.com/. It will show you the avg speeds for your freeways and email you in the morning to let you know how your commute is going to be.
