minneapolis commuter rail
How easy is it to hop around Seattle (and to get downtown) if you stay near the airport?

Does the transit system connect between the airport and downtown easily?

I’m used to the system in Minneapolis that directly does that by commuter rail.

It’s a lot cheaper to stay near the airport, but I sure don’t want to have it be a major hassle to get to the Needle and Seattle Center every day.

Thanks

Don’t know if it matters, but I’m looking at October for travel. :)

It takes about 30-40 minutes to get to downtown Seattle on the bus. Once you’re downtown, you can take the monorail to Seattle Center and the Space Needle.

Once you’re downtown, it’s easy to get around. I think the most time consuming thing would be getting from the Sea-Tac area to downtown, but it still wouldn’t be that bad.

I don’t know if you’ve ever been to Seattle before, but you will LOVE it!!!!!!!!! I lived in Washington for a few years and it’s beautiful there.

Will your lovely fiance Megan be joining you???
