nh commuter rail
What’s the easiest way to get from Manchester, NH to Boston, MA?

More specifically…
I will be flying into Manchester and I need to get to a suburb of Boston, Middleboro. I will have NO car!
There is a Manchester free Shuttle but I’m a country girl and feel uncomfortable taking a three different subway rides, shuttle buses and commuter rails. What would be the easiest way?
Is there a bus that goes from Manchester to Providence? Or from Manchester to the south train line?

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Thanks,
Jessi (and my 8 month old son who will be travelling with me… that makes it ten times harder, huh?)
I have to go through Manchester because I have a free ticket with Southwest Airlines and that’s the closest they get to Boston. BAH, I know! :)

Check that comfort zone of yours!!!

The subway and train connections are EASY!!

(By the way, it would be harder to get from Providence to Middleborough without a car than it is from Manchester).

Take the free shuttle bus all the way to the Orange Line subway. Thence the Orange Line only to Downtown Crossing (only 5 stops), switch to the Red Line only one stop to South Station and the Middleborough train.

It IS the easiest way!!!!!!!! For sure.
