What do you think about having you monthly commuting costs paid with pre-tax dollars?
I specifically want to know if you ever been enrolled in the Qualified Transportation Benefits (QTB) Program that is administered by FBMC. If not, have you used anything like it? Know anyone that has? If you or someone you know has used this service, please tell me your experiences.
I have experience with TransitChek. My employer terminated that program but now they are going to offer commuter benefits again but this time through FBMC. The say, “You may choose to have your transit passes delivered to your home or work and/or have your parking paid for directly.” I don’t know if I trust this.

I do not have experience with FBMC, but my old employer had a similar program that they administered in-house. It looks like FBMC is making a business of offering these benefits to employees. I am all for any program that reduces my taxes – if you have second thoughts about FBMC, maybe you should call their Customer Service Department (1-800-342-8017) and ask your questions and find out if they have local references that you can check.
I wish that more employers offered a “It Pays To Ride” program.
