pregnancy and commuting
9 months pregnant with a job interview?

I have a job interview for a management position with a retail store that will be opening very close to my home in Oct. I currently am commuting up to an hour away for work. This job sounds great, the only thing is that I’m currently 9 months pregnant. I figure if the store isnt opening until October this shouldnt be a problem. It sounds like a great job and has benefits as well…i am just nervous about what they will think when i walk in. The recruiter said they are just trying to get their management teams set up now. I know they cant discriminate by law, but there are always ways to get around that…. any advice on what to say or ask about my pregnancy???

be upfront at first about your due date and what not. after that, whenever they try to get personal about it in a question, swing it back around to a professional aspect like how w/ being a mother will come the ability to micromanage a budget or become organized, etc. dont let them control how it can effect the outcome when it comes to your pregnancy.
