Directions from Barcelona Airport (BCN) to hotel Barcelo Atenea Mar?
Hello,
My husband and I are flying to Barcelona (BCN) to then go to this hotel that our daughter booked for us, Barcelo Atenea Mar. The hotel’s address is: Paseo García Faria, 37-47, Barcelona.
We need directions on how to get there from the airport, baring in mind that we have NO CAR but we will use PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.

The public buses from the airport are rather slow. I recommend taking the train to Passeig de Gracia, and changing to the metro L4 (yellow) in the direction of Lau Pau. Get off at Selva de Mar. Walk south (toward the beach) on Selva de Mar, and turn left on Paseo Garcia Faria. It’s a 10-minute walk (the exchange at Passeig de Gracia is also a bit of a walk), but it will be faster than the buses.
If you’re using public transit during your stay, I recommend getting a T-10 ticket, good for rail, bus, tram and metro. It will save money in the long run. The transfer from the train to the metro is free, too. Also, watch for pickpockets in Passeig de Gracia, and all the touristy areas.
